The CBC definition of missions is to proclaim the gospel of Christ, gather believers into local churches, establish them in the faith, equip them for the work of service, train men for leadership, and encourage these congregations to plant other new churches.
CBC's purpose is to fulfill its part in carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. Its desire is not only to support missionaries actively, but also to be a sending church which raises up its own missionaries for both long-term and short-term ministries locally and abroad. As a missions church we seek to help our members encounter a biblical view of missions through teaching and exposure to missions through our yearly Missions Conference, special missionary speakers, and short-term missions trips.
Missionary House
In 1995 the Lord provided the money to purchase the house next door to the church, which sits on two and one-half acres, for the purpose of housing our missionaries when they are on periodic home assignment.
